In an industry saturated with sweet cookies, one woman’s mission to hit the segment with chocolate chip cookies and right a new story of her life. Loren Castle, is the founder of Sweet Loren’s, one of the most enjoyed sweet cookies involved simple idea, clean and sweet.

Her journey began not in a corporate boardroom, but in a hospital room. Wake-Up Call at 22, diagnosed with Stage 2 cancer just after completing graduation, lifestyle got disturb. During six months of chemotherapy, she put effort towards her kitchen. The joy of baking is endless for her.

She just want to enjoy healthy food and thrive for her lifestyle and don’t want to sick again in her life. She is purpose driven women with strong obsession of good health and tasty food. She baked with a mission with an instinct of nourishment and real passion for new lifestyle. She just got in depth for baking with different combinations of flours and sweeteners.

She just decided to remake chocolate chip cookies, as these cookies cooked so many times, she decided to make it with new food based which is less processed and healthy with incredible taste. Firstly, she sold her cookies in farmers market with $2 to $3. The response was full of engagement and people were hungry for healthy options.

She was just unsure of baking could be more than hobby, Loren took business classes and brought cookies to each session. And a classmate introduce her cookies to a buyer with 12 flavors in a box. The buyer fell in love with cookies and like the of being simple and natural. In 2011, by using her own saving of $25k, she just launched her cookie brand in the market of New York.

Launching the cookie brand in competitive market is not easy thing to do. As Loren’s was the only employee for years, and managed whole production with unique flavors. She switched few factories and develop unique packaging that will leads the way towards supermarket.

She just stayed by her mission with simple, clean and natural ingredients, By managing a distribution with local partners, she just transformed cookies with her own house name. Two years later, Loren’s introduced gluten free and allergen free cookies with same taste.

Loren’s projected to generate $120 millions in gross sale by 2025, with products including cookies, breakfast biscuits, puff pastry and pizza crusts in over 35k stores locally. She just got emotional when she heard people this product change their lives and it sounds like creating new lifestyle for the people.

She just crack a market of $28 billion by which totally leads to a new story and proves there is room present for clean and healthy cookies. Her formula of success is simple, the products that provides quality and integrity.
